Hi there, my name is David Sorensen. I have designed these posters to show you something of the incredible beauty, passion, glory and power of God.

I didn't always believe in Him. As a child I loved God with all my heart, but when I became a teenager I left Him, seeking fullfilment in the world.

For a couple of years I ran from God, trying to fill the need in my heart with girls, art and parties. But one day I took an overdose of drugs (LSD) and was brough to the hospital.

For years I had done everything I could to deny God, to run from Him and be popular with my friends, selling drugs, having fun and doing stuff I shouldn't be doing.

I had a deep need in my heart, but didn't realize it. I thought I would become a very succesfull artist, make a lot of money, become famous and be happy. But I fooled myself big time...

'David, you need God!'

When I had this overdose of drugs, I hit a brick wall. I realized I had been lying to myself. One day my mother told me:

'David, you need God!'

It struck me like lightning.

I had pushed Him away so many years, had even integrated a satanic symbol in my autograph. But when my mom said 'You need God' it was as if the lights went on inside of me and I knew so clearly:

She is right! I need God...

That night I broke down on my knees and gave my life tot Jesus Christ. I had believed in God as a child, but now I really broke down before God.

The years after that change I started encountering God more and more. I had experienced a lot of intense things apart from God, in music, drugs, parties, friends, sex etc., but it didn't make me happy at all.

Deep down inside I just knew I was unhappy. Now, the more I encountered God, the more I was amazed, overwhelmed, changed, transformed, fulfilled, happy, etc.


God is using... ME?

In my youth I had a very bad stammer. I often couldn't even go to a shop, because I stammered so bad. But the holy Spirit started working so deeply in me, that one day I found myself preaching in front of hundreds of people and the power of the holy Spirit touched the people deeply, changing their life.

That shocked me...

God was doing amazing things through... ME?

Now I have become a vessel of the healing power and love of Jesus Christ. The stammer is gone, God's power is filling me and He is using me to touch many thousands of people all over the world.

I am totally amazed what He has done.


How to encounter God

What is very important to truly encounter God is this:

First: turn to Him with ALL YOUR HEART. Break with the stuff that is not clean and not right. Fall down on your knees, give Him all you have.

Second: know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of this world. His sacrifice at the cross, His death and ressurrection is your salvation.

Third: encounter the holy Spirit. Jesus could do NOTHING without the holy Spirit. He was deeply dependant on Him. Jesus had left all His glory in heaven, when He became a human being, just like us. And He was filled with the holy Spirit, completely soaked with the holy Spirit. That is how God used Jesus Christ - the Son of Man - to change mankind.

The glory, the power, the love of God
is given to us by the holy Spirit.

The apostles walked with Jesus Christ for three full years, day and night, never left His side, heard Him speak every day, saw all the miracles, yet had no passion for God.

They left Christ when following Him became dangerous...

Once the holy Spirit soaked them fully, once the power of the Spirit fell on them, they became wild, radical, fearless, passionate lovers of Jesus Christ who layed down their lives for Him, if needed!

God became so real to me!

I experienced the same thing. For many years I walked with Christ and the Father, but had a cry for MORE, a hunger for the REALITY of God, a thirst for the glory of God. I wanted to see in my life what I read in the Bible, the Word of God.

Then the Lord opened my eyes for the holy Spirit, and this radically transformed my life. I became filled with the holy Spirit by the laying on of hands of passionate Christians and my life in Jesus Christ became so much more alive and real. The fire was truly lit in my heart, by the Spirit of God!

So these three steps are crucial: deep repentance, know who Jesus Christ is, and be filled with the holy Spirit.

I have made these posters to help you see the glory of God and help you show it to the world.

Let the world know how REAL God is, how loving Jesus is and how powerful He is. Use the posters to show God to the world that needs Him so badly.
